Monte Vista offers a variety of art shows, festivals and other events including the San Luis Valley 4-H Fair, Ski Hi Stampede (the oldest pro rodeo in Colorado) and the Crane Festival. There's also the Creede Repertory Theatre and the Rio Grande County Museum - one of 8 area historic museums.
