Colorado State Veterans Center and Mountain Meadows Nursing Center provide nursing care.
     
Monte Vista is served by San Luis Valley Medical Clinic and Rio Grande Medical Clinic. There's also
the Rio Grande Hospital in Del Norte and the area's largest hospital, the San Luis Valley Regional
Medical Center, in Alamosa.
